We couldn’t decide on one color scheme and we ended up with two! Who would have thought two kits could be so much fun.

Since it’s known that 2k10 is not about matching you bike it doesn’t really matter that we have two kits. Basically, we must only adhere to the unwritten rule that tops and bottoms should match somewhat before steeping onto the bike.

The Brown color scheme came from some imagery spotted at our local donut shop and we just ran with it. Honestly, the brown was a bit scary for most, but it has become the new cool within the team.

The grey can’t be ousted just yet. It rocks! But, just in a different way. It’s provides a lighter and cooler feeling. That can’t be beat during these hot months here in Sacramento. Well it hasn’t been that hot, but we are ready with cooling effect of the mint.

We know we are on the team. If you can’t keep track of us in the group, well that’s your deal. Heh heh heh. See you on the cross courses!

The grass roots nature of Team BEER provided her a solid foundation to regain her desire to race and find the drive to go out and really race. Soon, she found herself applying for a license and signing up for some local criteriums. That’s when the race bug bit her again.

Her results amounted quickly and she was then approached to ride for the Wells Fargo road team. But, she remains a member of Team BEER during the cross season. And, while we are looking forward to watching here rip the on dirt this season, she has bee amassing many wins on the NorCal scene. Her current victories have earned her an invitation to the Nature Valley Grand Prix Stage Race.

Emily has been training extremely hard, and has become quite an inspiration to many people. The video below depicts how hard she is training, and is evidence of her commitment to the sport. Check out the video of her riding to and from the races, and earning back to back wins. It will make you want to go out there and ride that much harder!
