Team BEER would like to take a moment and recognize Mike Macdonald for his winning effort in the 500m Time Trial at the Masters Track Nationals in the 70~74 age group. Mike Macdonald puts in his time on and off the bike to train and remain fit at the ripe old age of 70. A lot of hard work has gone into this winning effort, and the effort was decided by a mere 0.3 seconds. In such a short event everything counts, the start, acceleration to full speed, and leaving all out there. When most 70 year olds would probably rather hang out on the couch, Mike Macdonald is out there doing it still. Keep riding your bike. Amazing things can happen.
