Inspiration
Emily Kachorek restarted her racing career with Team BEER two years ago while earning a Masters Degree at CSUS. The grass roots nature of Team BEER provided her a solid foundation to regain her desire to race and find the drive to go out and really race. Soon, she found herself applying for a license and signing up for some local criteriums. That’s when the race bug bit her again.
Her results amounted quickly and she was then approached to ride for the Wells Fargo road team. But, she remains a member of Team BEER during the cross season. And, while we are looking forward to watching here rip the on dirt this season, she has bee amassing many wins on the NorCal scene. Her current victories have earned her an invitation to the Nature Valley Grand Prix Stage Race.
Emily has been training extremely hard, and has become quite an inspiration to many people. The video below depicts how hard she is training, and is evidence of her commitment to the sport.
