No one has ventured to try it with a fixed setup, yet. Currently, this unit has been predominantly used in the cyclocross realm.
This unit does replace the BB30 bearings since you have to accommodate the crank spindle plus the two clamping bolts. The Wheels Mfg. adapter you are referring to reduces the Inner diameter of the BB30 bearings to a smaller crank spindle diameter shared by Shimano and FSA cranks.
So then this would actually change your effective BB height and therefore a great additional benefit being the ability to change the that aspect of the geometry of your bike. That stock frame with a high BB can be changed to a better handling lower one.
Yes. The effective height could be lowered 7mm by rotating the EBB30 so that the bearings are at the bottom of the BB shell. This could also be used with a geared bike to achieve a lower BB if that is desired as well.
Will this work for fixed-gear, too, or just SS?
Does this replace the BB30 bearings, or is it like the Wheels Mfg. adapter that fits in the inner race?
Regardless, very very cool.

This adapter fits Road cranks only? Any chance I could use my Race Face Duece Cranks?
Your deuce cranks should work fine. The Chris King spacer kit will fill the extra space between the crank arm and bearings.
Will this adapter work on a Flash Carbon 29er? Will Truvativ Noir cranks work?
Are you aware there is a company copying your design on a similar product? I don’t want to name them here and give em’ any advertising.
